Every year right around June comes the excitement of another Spring Concert at Eastern Washington University. I've been lucky enough to photography the past couple years performers: Macklemore, Andy Grammar, Eclectic Approach, Death Star, Borgore, Alan Stone, and Parmalee.
Death Star & Borgore
This year featured the talents of Death Star for the opening act and Borgore for the main event. Having never photographed electronic music it posed the interesting challenge of photographing over the front video board. Unlike previous concerts, this one featured heavy long-rang telephoto use. Normally, I'm able to use mid-zooms like 24-70s.
For gear, I used the Nikon D500 and Nikon D750 with Nikon's 17-50mm 2.8 DX and 50mm 1.4 FX lens.
